TIPS FOR BANKING EXAM PREPARATION

  1. Fixed schedule to practice a fixed set of questions: Make a fixed study plan to practice a fixed number of questions daily. Organize your schedule and make it a habit to daily take one test paper and check your capacity to solve them effectively. Try to solve at least 4-5 full-length question papers a month before the exam. Monitor the speed by setting a timer before starting any of the tests. It will enhance your speed and accuracy both
  2. Avoid distractions around while studying: While studying for bank exams (IBPS PO) one needs to be 100 percent dedicated. Develop a study group with your friends and discuss the various technical aspects of the subjects. It will help you to solve the problems quickly. In case you do not want to make a group, you can study alone but be focused with no distractions such as gossips, tv, radio or music.
  3. Join Mock test series from any reputed coaching institute: The best way to judge your performance is to take a regular mock test from the series you have joined for the preparation. Daily check your performance and try to overcome the weakness and solve them under the proper guidance of the professionals. It will improve your speed of solving the problems
  4. Overcome anxiety and nervousness before practice: Always think positive while you are going to sit to study. In case you are not comfortable with any of the subjects, there is no need to be nervous rather takes a deep breath and solve the problems with peace. Nervousness will not be able to solve the questions effectively and you will end up to a great confusion.
  5. You can overcome your anxiety by taking the easy questions first be it from any section, it will boost your morale and confidence.
  6. Solve your doubts before a month or so before the exam: Do not leave any concepts to be taken up a week before the exam. It will spoil your peace of mind and you will not be able to understand or learn the concept easily. In case you have any doubts, it is better to seek the help of the friends or teachers while studying the concepts.
Although, these are the best tips to be followed according to the survey conducted on the aspirants. Every candidate has its own approach towards the problem-solving. Their targets and aims are also not the same always, so whatever suits you the best act accordingly.
