Subject wise smart strategy to ace IBPS PO 2018 Tier I exam

1.         Quantitative Aptitude:

An aspirant should give 2 hours daily to QA section in case your basics are clear and 3 hours for those who are weak in Mathematics right from the school times. Start your study plan chapter – wise. All these topics are familiar and you have already studied them in your secondary level, it means that you know which topic is easy and which one is difficult for you. Make a separate list of the topics in which you are weak and start from those topics first. Work on the weak topics for one hour and practice the topics in which you are strong in the two hours which you have allotted to QA section. Practice a lot to enhance your speed of solving the questions. Speed is an ultimate requirement to ace this section as it involves lengthy calculations.
Make a list of short cuts and important questions so that you can revise them effectively as and when you need. It is better to memorize short tricks by revising them daily.
Learn tables of numbers from 1 to 20 and cube and square roots as these help in developing speed. Revise them daily to memorize as these are the best tools to overcome any calculation mistake.

2.         ENGLISH:

English section is very typical and needs a thorough knowledge of basic rules of grammar. Give at least 2 hours to study English language by working aggressively on the basics and practice them a lot. Buy a good grammar book and give a thorough brush up of basic grammar rules on daily basis by picking one topic one day.

3.         LOGICAL REASONING:

This section is not difficult as it does not involve any concept or formulae to learn. Give 2 hours to Logical reasoning daily and practice the questions from previous year question papers. Master the art of solving quizzes so that you can understand the sequences asked in the exam. Most of the questions of reasoning section are based on quiz.
